Enplanements are on the rise at the Central Nebraska Regional Airport in Grand Island.
In March 2021 the CNRA enplaned 4,809 passengers for a total 9,723 passengers travelling
through the terminal.
This equates to a 60% increase in enplanements over last March when numbers plummeted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to Executive Director Mike Olson, “Pent-up demand and mass-vaccination have contributed to this increase. We are optimistic we’ll see increased travel throughout 2021”.
In June, the airport will celebrate American Airlines 10 th Anniversary in providing air service to Dallas Fort-Worth, TX (DFW).
